Wayne Kubert

Retired Appraiser / Company Consultant

As of January 1, 2023, Wayne transitioned to a consultant role for Kubert Appraisal Group, P.C. In his new role, Wayne has retired from his appraisal credentials with both the State of Nebraska and the Appraisal Institute. Although now fully retired, Wayne continues to contribute his knowledge and experience to Kubert Appraisal Group in a non-credentialed role.

Wayne previously held the Certified General Appraiser credential from the Nebraska Real Property Appraiser Board and was active in the real estate industry as an appraiser and broker from 1965 through 2022.

Wayne’s primary career experience was within the State of Nebraska. However, Wayne also held temporary appraisal credentials in more than 15 other states as he travelled the country performing specialized appraisals. Many of these were within or related to the agricultural community, such as feed mills, grain storage facilities, ethanol production plants, and other highly specialized facilities.

Wayne earned the MAI designation in 1985 from the Appraisal Institute, a professional designation held by over 1,000 professional appraisers world-wide, but less than 25 located in the State of Nebraska. Wayne retired from the Appraisal Institute as of December 31, 2022.

Wayne previously held a Broker’s license issued by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission for over 40 years and was President of the Lincoln Board of Realtors in 1981.

Wayne is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Wayne volunteered in the local community with the Lincoln Youth Football League for over 55 years, as well as also coaching and serving many local organizations.
